Eliza's husband Claude John Tone Bell died March quarter 1894 in Edmonton, Essex district so it seems strange that she emigrated in 1892 and stated that she was a widow. |

Ah, so Thomas William also emigrated to Minneapolis. I wonder if Edith Julia went out there as well? Thank you so much for all your investigation, I really appreciate it. Do the censuses give the occupations of residents? |

Trying to find Thomas Allen and his family on 1891 census. They were in Knebworth, Lincolnshire on the 1881 census. Thomas was born in Spalding, Lincs c1837, His wife, Julia Ann was born in Hatfield, Herts c1836. Daughter Elizabeth C Allen was born in Chingford, Essex c1864. Son Thomas William Allen was born c1866 in Chingford, Essex and daughter Edith J was born c1870 in Little Berkhamstead, Herts. |
