does anyone have a clue what happened two these two people births c1870 and 1878 lived in the hull area both believed to have died close together as young children brought up by older sister, thanks

So did they marry? If she died in 1918, she would have been 30 not a young child.

EDIT sorry misunderstood your first post, you mean the young children were brough up by a sister.

yes they did marry she had young children when she died and her elder daughter brought all the other children up, it has been said fred died at the same time but cannot find any record of this

Is it possible Fred simply could not cope with the children after Annies death and the children were taken in by sister? I cannot find a death for Fred around the same time.

If you got Annies death cert, it would state wife or widow of Fred and reduce the search time.

yes this has been said to me before but we also wondered if it could have been a death that was during the war, don't know been stuck with this for months now

hi can any one help i'm trying to look for fred milner i have now found that he was still alive when his wife died in 1918. she was called annie elizabeth milner. at the time of her death he was in the 4th east yorkshire regiment and his wife died fleet steet hull, any help on his death would be helpfull

yes that is the correct info leonard was my husbands dad. leonard was brought up by his elder sister due to the mum dying and the dad fred not been around we are trying to find out what happened to fred as we can't find a death for him and wondered if he just deserted his family or he died at same time as well, thanks

yes i have serched everytree that has a relation on and had some good info on diff parts of the tree but no one had info on fred he just seems to have dissapeared and no one seems to want to search for him from his part of the family

no idea if fred remarried as all we know is that the mother died then leonard and his siblings where brought up by ethel one of the elder sisters but cannot find any more info at all on fred he just seems to have diss after this time wondered if he could have died during the end of the war
