I believe Sarah married Richard Ragler/Ragland and lived in the USA, she then returned to UK with the 2 children presumably as a widow and remarried Middleton. Your right Margaret it was Ellen who married John Hall Fell. I'm confusing myself now!!! |

Annette, why don't you just order the marriage certificate for John Middleton & Sarah Ragland. It would give you her maiden name and her father's name. It's June quarter 1888, 8e 1146, Ulverston. |

Thanks everyone! Sorry Joan, the surname is Ragland for Richard and Sarahs maiden name is unknown, hence trying to track down marriage certificate. |
