Charlotte, I think you may have found him, but even if you got the cert it may not tell you his father's name. |

No, the certificate as far as my aunt can remember (my aunt was the grand daughter of William Henry Carter) has no father on it. Although my grandad may have it I shall get him to look for it. I think I will speak to William's last remaining son and ask if he remembers his grandparents or anything of them. |
