The ages do not tie between the above census' and Ellen is shown in 1871 as being born in Waterford, Ireland and then in 1891 Whitechapel London but there is so much that is right about the rest of the information it still makes me think it is right ?! |

Is your birthplace for Richard dependent on the 1871 census? If so he may have been born elsewhere. |

I have searched for a Richard Burns born in St George's East and in just Middlesex but am pretty new to this and not sure where to look next. |

I just don't know where else to go on this one. I've been looking for letter carrying Thomas's with no luck. Have you found Richard's death index? That cert might have a date of birth (I'm not sure when they started doing that) which maybe some time to start. |
