hi this is a long shot as i dont have much info to go by but here goes! iv been looking for my great great great grandads dads death for a good few weeks now with not much success. he was born in prussia germany but he died over here in england. his name was peter roder and he was a farmer thats what it states on my great grandads marriage cert. i think he was born around 1800 to1810. this is all the info i have at this stage driving me potty could anyone lend a hand with this death would be greatful know its a long shot. any tips even

if it helps his sons name was paul j roder born in prussia also in 1830. he died in 1901 at the age of 91 bethnal green ho owned loads of shops

was told he more than likely died around the 1870s aorund bethnal green area is very likely as he had children there and around kent area

Can't find Peter's death on FreeBMD. Maybe you need to find him on the census to narrow down year of death. His surname might be mistranscribed.

hi hun yea he did marry emma he was married twice these family members are all his children yes. whats newsvender mean is that a place?

il put peters name up in my tree and see if it comes up with any census records for him

there is a peter roder in some census records could be him ya never know. il try and look up marriages but i doubt he married over here.

hi s death cert just gave me prussia and so did his marriage cert. thats how i got his dads name peter from his marriage cert and said he was a farmer. i know about his 2 marriages to elizabeth abbot and emma B aswell and i know about his and emmas children.

can you change your name then if you come over to another country?
