Member Since: February 2007 Posts: 3 Send Message	I am having a problem making any positive links in my tree as i cannot get to Glos records office due to the fact i have two small children in tow. I am looking for:- Francis Edward Davis b. 1858 Browns Hill Bisley (birth, marriage or death) i believe he married Sarah Annie from Winchfield, Hants. Also a second wife called Jinny? I think he died in Kemble in 1931 but lived just in Wiltshie most of his adult life. The family were Methodists at that time and before. Found on internet Francis Edward Davis b. Stroud 1858 jul/aug/sept (6a242) John Davis (maybe Francis's father) b. 1830 Bisley. Wife Sarah. maybe died 1905 in Stroud age 73 (6a211) Both were stone masons. I hope maybe some kind soul can help me out even a little bit. Thanks very much Sarah

Member Since: February 2007 Posts: 3 Send Message	Thanks ever so much for your help. The only definate i have is Francis Edward on my Grandfathers marriage certificate. The rest has been guess work apart from names of his children. The reason i was chasing John is because it is a strong family name and i read somewhere it wasn't uncommen to make mistakes when marking down gender of a person. The other info is very interesting but you see why i need to get some info from the records office.
