Thanks for your help unfortunately I have this info and have a copy of the marriage certificate between William and Ellen which states that his occupation was a porter and not a druggist. |

can't find a george with father william with that occupation or even close, you may be unfortunate and george might have 'made up' a father to save embarrassment |

Sorry Wendy this is where I come unstuck. I have a marriage certificate for a George E Young which records his father William as being a druggist. He married in1883 and was 26years old I know that George was definately born in Bath, Somerset. |

It does make sense but there are only two George Youngs born in the bath area. |
