If he was your grandfather.........who was your grandmother?

When did they marry? Where did they marry?

Buy the cert.........it will tell you how old he was......and the name + occupation of his father (if known)

all army records are now kept in the national archives they have a website.
You might gather more info from them or from the Royal Artillary Museum/
Ex military myself and have traced my mothers father this way
