dont know whether you have mary and roberts children but here are baptisms all sneinton st stephen martha 26 9 1708 mary 7 1 1710 died 1 2 1711 sneinton daughter of robert margaret 20 11 1715 it seems like it could well be your family as the names seem to be running through the family as they seemed to do back then

The Rueben ... I forgot to mention. That's the *other* Reuben Cooper, annoying little person. He was born in Mansfield and living in Derbyshire with Sarah in 1851 and ever after. Unless mine shuttled for 40 years ...

I also meant to mention the *other* Mary Fallowell, who married an Edwin Clark(e). Not mine, not the pre-existing marrige, dang that one too. ;)

The one I'm really looking for is my grx2 grandfather.

REUBEN COOPER (Ruben, etc.), born around 1825-27, supposedly Calverton.

On his marriage in 1872, Basford district, Calverton, he stated age 45, father Robert Cooper. In one census, Sarah Cooper, apparently Sarah Smith, his mother, and two of her daughters are living adjacent.

Reuben and his wife had been together since before 1851. I've assumed a pre-existing marriage. I can't find one for him or his wife, Mary Ann Fallowell. And I can't find him or either of the parents in 1841.
