Hi,

There is always the possibilty that the age given at marriage was incorrect.

I know when my grandfather was born but when obtaining his marriage certificate he had stated that he was 6 years younger than he was. I have been able to establish that the marriage cert is my grandparents and also that his date of birth is correct.
