Find Ancestors

I have been trying for approx 2 years now to find the birth reg of my great grandad.................. Henry / Harry Fellows born 1874 Birmingham
Have sent for a couple of cert's which weren't him and kept going back to ancestry to try and look again but have to date drawn a complete blank


Henry Fellows born 1874 in Birmingham - Also known as Harry, my great grandad
Father is Henry Fellows born 1849 in Birmingham
Sister is Emma Fellows born 1868 in Birmingham

The father ( Henry 1849 ) moved to Sheffield and Henry Junior and sister Emma came with him, Here Henry Senior re-married,

I cannot find the Mother of Henry Junior and Emma and it is the one link that I'm missing...............Any help appreciated as I feel another pair of eyes may help

In 1881 Henry and his sister are living with Emma Hall and her son, Emma later becomes their step mum, their father Henry (senior) born 1849 is in the workhouse in 1881 in Sheffield

Joan the one you have posted looks interesting, but not sure as Sarah doesn't appear with the family in 1881 and Emma isn't showing in this census

Jessie, have you looked at this marriage? It's possible that Henry Sr. may have married his first wife between Emma and Henry. This happened in my family (husband was a mariner). My ancestor had 3 childen by her husband prior to the marriage. And then proceeded to have 5-6 more children.
