Looking for the birth certificate for Rose Marian MORRAN or is it DUNN born c 1860 in Staffordshire or Ireland. Sorry guys not much info. Her marriage certificate gives her father as Michael MORRAN but her ?parents married 3 years after her birth. On their marriage certificate it says widow and widower. Mother's previous married name was DUNN maiden name CORFIELD. Cannot find a birth registered in any of these names. Can anyone help? |

Could this possibly be her previous marriage registered as Cornfield? It's from BVRI: |

As I stated earlier, registration wasn't compulsory then.......and if the child was illegitimate, it was even more unlikely............ |

It seems odd that they don't appear to be on 1861 census..............I can't find them, anyway! |

It occurred to me that Rose may, in fact, be Michael's daughter by his first wife.......you did say that he was a widower when he married Matilda? |
