Looks as if I'm on the right track as I have found this Anne Reynolds in 1901 and she is in the same area of Leigh as the marriage for Thomas and Mary was. Westleigh, St Peter |

No mum and Dad hate giving out their credit card details which I understand in this day and age with all the stories you hear. And I dont have one as we are doing the gypsy thing around Australia in a caravan and got rid of all our financial trapings, and you always seem to need a credit card with these things dont you? but God I love this family tree thing and I finally have a bit of a sense of belonging. Being born in Australia and all relatives living in England I have always felt displaced while my friends had auntiea uncles grandparents and cousins I just had mum and dad there no feeling of roots there, |

I've just been reading the other thread abot Mary Chadwick and saying you were short of money for buying certs, could you persuade your mum to get the birth cert for you ,lol. |

I dont think so i just rang my mum and she said he died within about 12 months of his first wife in the late sixties or early seventies but he managed to remary in that short time and maybe died of a heartattack in a laneway the dont seem to even know where he was buried |

no but i think he died after 1970 cause his first wife died about then and he remarried quickly |

It's difficult to go any further without his actual age and father's name as there area lot of Roddy's in the Lancs area in 1901. |
