Find Ancestors

Myself an another have tried to find this one but can't so any help would be appreciated.Frederick Henry Beaver b 1851 and Ida (Ada) Abbott b 1852. They went on to have 8 children so I am assuming they did marry at some time.

Frederick was a afamily name so I know others will show up but it is this one I want!

Sam - I added a PS to my request at the time of posting that gives the year of birth of the first 2 children. 1873 and 1875.

No record is coming up even using diffferent variations in surname

I have looked under individual surnames from the age of 15 for both of them until 1881 when the census says that they were married at the time.

I have tried middle names too.
Me thinks they may have lied to the census person!

Did you find them with parents in 1861? Perhaps Ada/Ida is a nickname. What does her birth record state?

I haven't got access to 1861 census so I haven't looked.

Her parents were Charles Abbott b Middlesex 1808 and Emily Durrant born c 1814.

Joan, thanks for that. I have just checked my records and although I gave his birth year, I didn't actually notice that he died in 1854 as did his wife, a year after their 2nd youngest daughter died aged 3.

I have got so engrossed in this tree and it isn't even mine! I am doing it as birthday present for a friend.

I have now realised that there were 5 children aged 17 down to 2 years of age left without parents. How awful.
