The marriage was between a Elizabeth Whitaker born 1853 in Burnley and George Proctor born 1849 in Burnley. The marriage took place in Burnley in 1874, but i don't seem to find any record of it on any websites I've look at. Kind regards Simon.

	Simon how do you know these names and year of marriage? I looked on FreeBMD and the only Elizabeth Whitaker marriage I could see was in 1872. There is a George on the page but surname is Halstead. If you are sure it is 1874 I'll have a look on Ancestry Full Index Jennifer

I got the info about the marriage from familysearch.org. I know George Proctor remarried in 1892 to a Jessie Johnston plus he was living in American Fork Utah sometime in his life. 	Ancestry does have a family tree but makes no mention of a wife called Elizabeth only of Jeanette with a child born in America in 1894

	There are no marriages on the full index for 1874, I'll have a look at 1875 Jennifer None in 1875 either.

	For some reason they have a different surname.
