Peter

Peter Report 25 Feb 2013 14:53

I think that Gottlieb Baier's second wife Sarah Cope (marriage 1869) was my great grandfather James Cope's sister. My Sarah Cope was born in Stratford West Ham in 1838 and orphaned in 1850

I have found what could be her in service in London in 1851 & 61 (her age is consistently wrong but I don't think this is a problem) and then the marriage in 1869. She gives her father's name at the wedding as James but actually it was Thomas. Because of being orphaned I think this is understandable

What do you all think?
