There are two births registered to George and Hannah Boorman the last one being in 1824. It is therefore quite possible that he died and Hannah met and lived with a Watts unknown and Edward was a child of that union. There is no marriage for the couple that I can find and as it is before the census records there is no evidence. If there was a baptism for Edward in Cranbrook it would make things a great deal easier but alas there doesn't appear to be one.

Sarah Parks baptised 1807 at Cranbrook, daughter of Samuel Pettit Parks and Sarah Oyler who married in Cranbrook 1796. Samuel 1779-1858 son of Samuel Parks and Mary Pettit who married in Cranbrook 1775. Samuel Pettit 1753 - 1799 son of Samuel Pettit junior and Mary Spice who married 1750 in Cranbrook. Samuel Parks junior 1718-1795 is the son of Samuel Parks senior and Elizabeth Heyward who married Cranbrook 1714. Samuel Parks senior married 4 more times: Mary Fowl, Elizabeth Milsted, Sindony Cornes, Elizabeth Drayner.
