Hi, I am a member of ancestry but i have had no luck.....i dont want to mix threads but an looking for Eliza Liley born c1824 st pancras, she married in st pancras church in 1845 but I cannot find her baptism. All census data has her place of birth as st pancras, so I have asssumed she was baptised there |

thats what i had found glitterbaby but after researching it seems that JOhn and Mary Liley also had a daughter baptised at st leonards shoreditch called susan matilda liley........but susan matilda lileys marriage record was witnessed by JOHN AND Mary Liley - the marriage taking place way after 1845 but we know john had died by then - so it cannot be this family |

interestingly......the other witness of Johns marriage to Caroline is Mary Ann Bentley.......I have been told that Eliza and therefore Johns mother was called Mary Ann.........as husband John died fairly young I wonder if Mary Ann Lilley married a Mr Bentley???......a possibility |
