Having received my grandparents marriage cert, I thought ?I may find out more on my grandfather, unfortunatly I am still in a pickle. Can anyone help ?
Thomas Metcalfe married Isabel Fisher 13/12/1937 at the time he was a trooped in the Royal dragoon guards. His fatheralso a thomas Metcalfe a coal miner. Thomas (jr) was born around 1915. As Thomas and Metcalfe are popular names in the north I dont want to assume anything.I know they were married in Bishop Auckland and he died in Darlington in 1958 so defiantly a Co Durham born and bread but, so were many other Metcalfe's, I have assumed his mother was a Jane Allen and Thomas maybe had a twin ?? can anyone confirm please?
