Margaret McColm, 1 of 9 children I think, originally from Stranraer area, married Joseph Turnbull, moved to Essex - 1 daughter, Mary who married John James Cassidy, originally from Paisley, Scotland |

You're posting has got me quite excited and my mother pretty stunned. Her Aunt Peggy (margaret) McColm was from the Stranraer area, also from a very large family. She moved down to England, somewhere in the Midlands, during the 2nd World War and was posted missing. believed dead, after a bomb raid. Her father was James Mccolm. |
