please could anyone help.I have details of Martha on 1911 census [aged 32yrs] with all correct offspring ,married to John Jackson in 1896,Staffs.So was born in 1879. However on getting her marriage cert ,it shows she was 19 yrs at time of marriage-therefore born in 1877 not 1879.Also shows the 1879 dob in the 1891 census in Sedgley,Staffs.May be simple to solve but im baffled easily. Also ,what date are the census done on?Thanks to all for any help. |

Census records were not very reliable as people often gave the wrong age of someone in the house on the night of the census |
