I am looking for information on a family called Hull from wigan. I have a maiden name of the mother of the family, coxon? but could be something similar.

I can't find anything on Elizabeth Spooner, nee, Hull, she died in the 60's, she was approx. 42 when she died, I also can't find her marriage records.

Elizabeth Spooner died age 46 in Sutton Coldfield vol 9c page 1124, 1st qtr 1967.

You are lucky - there is only 1 Elizabeth Ellen Purdham on 1901 - born 1886 - Wigan
Father is Jonathan - a coal miner - widower.

I have had a look at the original census page on this site for joe hull, and there isn't a george but there is a ben hull.
Have I got my wires crossed?!

I don't use the census on this site - far too expensive.

I don't know how it works on here - do you see the actual image or just a transcription?

I have rechecked the image again on Ancestry and it definitely says - children Lawrence, JOE and George !! - NO Ben. !

They are at 10 Isabella Street, Wigan - 1901.

Is this the same one as you have?

On the 1901 census theres a lawrence Hull - son - aged 17
but hes not on the 1891 census, could he have been living away from home?

Well I'm currently trying to look for the husband of Elizabeth Hull.
I have his
name: Eric Francis Spooner
DOB: 1-7-1918
They married : Dec 1940
His mothers maiden name was Whitte.
I cannot find anyone on freebmd, other than an Alice Whitte, but then shes not on the census?!
