They were born in Monaghan, Ireland. Lucinda Isabella was born in Ballybay and her daughter Lucinda Elizabeth was born in Clones. Lucinda married John on 28th April 1920. |

I'm afraid I don't know. My mother wrote the book about 15 years ago when she was still alive. She just put he had emigrated but it must have been quite a while ago if she didn't know the children's names although she did know he had had children so that suggests about 1930s 1940s if he was born around 1900 like his sister Lucinda. |

I've found information about my other ancestors from england going back to the 18th century, but I can't find any information about my Irish ancestors. Do you know of any sites I could find out any information about them? On here and on ancestry it only seems to have censuses for england, scotland and wales. Can anyone help? |
