Have traced my family through records till 1850s when i came across Cornelius i cant find birth records. |

Hi wifes Death cert gives her parents names as Daniel Docherty/Jane Docherty( nee Kelly) and husbands name Cornelius Brannan she died June 1882 at age 31 cant find anything else for either of them except there sons birth cert |

His wife,s(Rose Ann) Death cert gives her parents names as Daniel Docherty/Jane Docherty( nee Kelly) and husbands name Cornelius Brannan she died June 1882 at age 31 In Greenock Scotland cant find anything else for either of them except their son Daniels(age 28) marriage cert to aMargaret Beaton(age 20)11/05/1904 and Grandsons birth cert(my Grandfather Daniel Docherty Brennan16/01/1906) all were in Greenock |

Margaret.Have been looking through the 1881 Census and have found the following Dougherty Family from "Moville" listed for West Greenock however it is not the parents of Rose ...possibly another member of the Dogherty family..... |

I found Cornelius Brannan in the Prison Census my mum was delighted but still cant find birth records for him or his son Daniel Docherty Brannan my Family has a tradition of using mothers Maiden name as middle name in the next Generataion which still continues today |
