Find Ancestors

Hi,

need some help in finding Alexandra Burton i don't know a lot i need to know a death.

1865 (roughly)
Peterborough UK

i have no idea when she died and would like to find out when she did die.

i have no idea this side of the family is very confusing
i have been looking for her birth and death and marriage but can't find any.

i know she had a son william burton 1883 and a grandson jack burton 1900 and i don't know anything else

So the 1891 census is looking good, son William born 1883, Peterborough is where she is living and Bourne woul;d not be far away from there.

I need to identify her married name first, I can't find 1 under Surrell, the census image isn't very clear.

I'll keep looking for that 1st or we'll never find her death.

Well i am going to the archives next week

i was just wandering if i could find more informationon Alexandra and her family and her death i know what cemetry she is buried at but i need a date and then i can look at the local records first. Will you now be able to find her date of death.

In 1911 there is an Alexander Burton not Alexandra, living in Peterborough witha John Burton born 1900, now Jack was a name used for John.

Alexander was born in 1863.

I'm wondering if this is the grandson you stated???

What county is Alexandra buried at???

On the 1911 census there is also a Mary Burton living with them her year of birth is 1832. Also there is a William and Mary Foster with them, William born 1880 and Mary born 1885.

That would be her grandson Jack

I haven't heard of foster before
i just need to know the date which she died
I have been told that Alexandra's mother's name was Mary and i don't know who the father to William is i don't know a lot i am afraid

i had found that census i just don't know when she died and thats the information i need to carry on my research and i have looked but can't seem to find anything. All i know is that she died in Peterborough.

Hi Karen,

I can't see a death, however if her death hasn't been transcribed yet it would mean searching every quarter by quarter........ that's a very time consuming thing.

Maybe an idea to ask on a thread for an electroll look up in Peterborough in the 1920's and 30's, this would narrow down the years for you.
