Hi Karen,

I can't see a death, however if her death hasn't been transcribed yet it would mean searching every quarter by quarter........ that's a very time consuming thing.

Maybe an idea to ask on a thread for an electroll look up in Peterborough in the 1920's and 30's, this would narrow down the years for you.

i had found that census i just don't know when she died and thats the information i need to carry on my research and i have looked but can't seem to find anything. All i know is that she died in Peterborough.

I haven't heard of foster before
i just need to know the date which she died
I have been told that Alexandra's mother's name was Mary and i don't know who the father to William is i don't know a lot i am afraid

Hi,

What county is Alexandra buried at???

On the 1911 census there is also a Mary Burton living with them her year of birth is 1832. Also there is a William and Mary Foster with them, William born 1880 and Mary born 1885.

In 1911 there is an Alexander Burton not Alexandra, living in Peterborough witha John Burton born 1900, now Jack was a name used for John.

Alexander was born in 1863.

I'm wondering if this is the grandson you stated???

Well i am going to the archives next week

i was just wandering if i could find more informationon Alexandra and her family and her death i know what cemetry she is buried at but i need a date and then i can look at the local records first. Will you now be able to find her date of death.

So the 1891 census is looking good, son William born 1883, Peterborough is where she is living and Bourne woul;d not be far away from there.
