Thanks for all your help will take me awhile to go through it all and I will speak to Gt Grand daughter of Thomas, Albert Stanley McCarthy was her grandfather and there were certainly some burials at Abney Park. Michelle McCarthy( Grand daughter of Albert) does not know much about her McCarthy ancestors, which is reason for my research. |

I have just spoken to Michelle (grand daughter of Albert Stanley McCarthy) and he is the same Sergeant Albert Stanley McCarthy died 07/07/1946 and buried at Abney Park. So according to the CWGC transcript found by Londonbelle, I have been looking for the wrong parents, will now have to get the birth cert for Albert, like I should have done in the first place. When will I learn you can't cut corners with genealogy. Thanks all once again for your wise words. |
