Member Since: December 2003 Posts: 35 Send Message	I'm researching the history of the STANDFIELD family of Bere Regis and surrounding area (e.g. Winterborne Kingston, Wareham, Milborne St Andrew). My great grandparents were Levi STANDFIELD & Eleanor TARRANT. My 2 x great grandparents were William STANDFIELD & Virtue COBB. My 3 x great grandparents were John STANDFIELD & Ann HAWKINS. My 4 x great grandparents were John STANDFIELD & Matilda HENWOOD. My 5 x great grandparents were Charles STANDFIELD & Dorothy FRY. My 6 x great grandparents were Richard STANDFIELD & Mary SMITH. I would be interested to hear from anyone with Dorset-based Standfield connections in their family tree and would be happy to share any of the information I have already found. My connection with the Standfields is that my 3rd?4th gratgrandad married ann Standfield and I belive her parents were James Standfield dob1769 and Mary Hawkins dob1773. By the way his name was John Shave dob1794 from Winterborne Whitechurch. Please let me know if this fits in anywhere Regards Anne
