my wife has ageorge b1821 to a george & margaret in durham area i have two full families and birth, death and marriage dates found in old bible
my wifes familywere from durhamk but het gr/gr/gr/gr/ james johnson thompson b1825was killed at sea they sent his son arthur welburn thompson to london 1868 and from here the whole family formed a branch in the plaistow - ilford area

Hi folks,
I was here yesterday and got some great info which allowed me to finally track down George Henry Thompson.
However, I'm now back to his grandfather George Thompson born abt. 1831 Newcastle-upon-tyne (?) and ... not being very good at this.. I've lost him!
I have George in 1881 as a widower and in 1891 married to Margaret. They were living in Stockton On Tees, Durham, England. In 1881 George was living with his children, the eldest being Mary A. Thompson born abt. 1858, Stockton, Durham, England, and Robert W. Thompson born abt. 1865, Stockton, Durham, England. The line I'm following concerns one of the youngest, Matthew, born abt 1877 in Stockton.
At the moment I have no idea who the mother is and where George is in 1841, 1851, 1861 & 1871 even though in 1891, Matthew's mother is listed as Margaret.
I'm lost, can anyone help please?
