This story is confusing Sylvia was married to David L Thomas in Jan Feb or mar 1950 District Haverfordwest Record Vol 8c page 803 in feb 1952 she gave birth to my husband he was registered by her as Bernard Thomas but also by his Dad as Bernard Walsh she was never divorced from David but left my Husband her son in the care of his Aunt and Uncle on his fathers side before she disappeared from his life he was about 8 wks old. All he wants to know is why? and has he any siblings as he is nearly 60 yrs old now it would be nice for him to find out if she had any more children. my husbands birth record is Registration District Durham North Eastern Registration County |

Are you saying that Sylvia's husband was not the father of her son? |

To find possible siblings for your husband, look for births which have the same MMN as his. |

Yes that is right we can only assume that she had an affair with my Husbands father Thomas Walsh and then maybe went back to her husband without her son we really don't know. |

Sylvia's sister Grace also married a Thomas so some of the Thomas/Didcote births won't all belong to Sylvia. |
