Trying to find any information for my grandmother Frances Helen Thornton (Nellie) lived at 52 Austin avenue Forest Fields Nottingham .This address is also where she passed away in 1956,I know she was a private school mistress when she lived with her brother in Barkers Drive, carlton, nottingham . In 1901 census ,her brothers name was James Thornton,My great Grandmother was Ann Mary Thornton who passed away on 2nd April 1935 also at 52 austins avenue,I would be very grateful for any info no matter how small.Also Her son (my father) Ernest Leslie Shirley , My grandmother Francis Helen Shirley Nee Thornton was also granddaughter of the Dennis family in Nottingham |
