Genes don't use their own records. They are part of Find My Past whose records are on here.
Many of the researchers on here don't use the records on Genes.

Assuming you are looking for English records then have you tried www.freebmd.org - you would then be able to work out the year and quarter they were married in.

If you are in the UK then many libraries have been offering remotes access to Ancestry, I don't know if other countries have done the same.

Try putting your query regarding the marriage onto the Find Ancestors board - you will probably get the answer you are looking from someone with access to the main FH sites.

Edit: this looks like 17th Century Suffolk Quakers. This is quite specialist and a difficult time to research as records are not easily available.

those of us on pensions and/or social security cannot just spend our money without thinking about it. all I ask is that you index the records, so we do not spend money on records we can't use. I looked for a marriage for Peter Cross(e). I will not pay blindly for the 3 records that came up. Peter married twice. I have his marriage to Elizabeth Peckover, and I really do not want to pay for that. I am looking for his marriage to Mrs. Joanne/Jane/ Johannah Smyth.it distresses me to think of paying for records I already have, or that are of no use to me. just put in a person's given name and the year of the event. that's all.
