I had not realised that the search had been reduced to 50 names

The current search is done from 50 names chosen at random and ignoring common surnames like Smith and Jones.

The frequency and number of names was reduced when they added birthplace checking, probably because of the increased load it put on the system.

I hate to tell you this, but it seems we're on our own!


Look on your Home Page, and any Hot Matches are there ......... the computer seems to be doing them about once every month. Thta is the same schedule that they have been on for several years.

The difference is that the email does not come to your home email address to tell you that the Hot Matches have been done


You should also realise that the Hot Matches have never checked more than the first 100 of your names, and if there have been few changes, then you will get very few, or no, Matches.

Would like to see more hot searches or connections made by the team at Genes Reunited it seems a number of people don't think this happens enough come on guys programme those computers
