:-D :-D

Kipfler potatoes

I actually saw some in the supermarket the other day. In WA we have a Potato Marketing Board who control all aspects of potato growing, from the types to the quantities :-S :-S

All producers have to have a licence and can only grow the quantity shown on the licence. Ant excess has to be destroyed :-|

How quaint, nineteenth century, and dictatorial :-| :-|

:-D :-D :-D@ the recipe book

The worst part of last night, Jem, was that many of the people doing 'work' at the main meeting weren't there, which left the new Master, who has only just gone into the chair, and hasn't held that position previously, floundering. So much for Masonic support :-|

Thanks Allan:-)

They seem a bit slack in the new Lodge, Allan! :-S :-S

Could you see how it goes over a few weeks and then decide before you fully commit yourself to it? Or doesn't it work like that?

Crystallised Fruit Meringue

I've got a recipe book out! :-D

My sincere condolences, Jem

Not too bad this end. I went to a Lodge rehearsal last night at my prospective new Lodge (no ballot yet). I'm now beginning to wonder if I've made the right decision. There were only seven of us there. The meeting was due to start at 7.00pm which it did...with nibbles and wine :-S

The rehearsal proper did mot start until 7.45pm :-|

That's it from me for now. Our son and his partner are coming for lunch so I want to tidy the house.

I have a FB account with an alias, which I have never used, except to look at relatives' pages. I can see the attraction in a way, but I don't like the thought of doing it myself!
