Do you get Antiques Road Trip Allan?

It made me wonder if they had been stolen or something. If so, they may have been recognised now! :-0

Toast with sardines :-D

It is surprising for that type of gear, Jem, as normally if a Lodge closes most of the ceremonial equipment would go back the Provincial or Grand Lodge.

It is quite common to find personal masonic items (aprons, cases, jewels etc.) in second hand or antique shops. The family of a deceased mason my just do a house clearance and off everything goes.

I've left instructions that my gear is to go to my Lodge and to the other Order I used to be in (and thinking of re-joining)

I was surprised that they were in a shop for sale in the first place!
The auctioneer sounded Australian.

Risotto

Re the photo. The objects are wardens columns which are used during the opening and closing ceremonies. They must be a special pair to fetch that much cash!
