Records are free if they're from the MOD, but there may be a fee for those which are now with the National Archives.
MOD is gradually passing them all over to the NA.

It can take several weeks for records to arrive.

Yes, you need the death certs.

Can you tell me how I go about getting three army records my fathers my father in law and his father how much does it cost per person and how long does it take they have all died now I don’t have their death certificates is that ok or do I have to produce these?
