On the Commonwealth War Graves site page that shows his record, if you scroll down and then 'Click to view' the panel near the centre of the page, there is a typed list of names including Robert.

The top of the list is headed Stone 24

You could try contacting the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and asking if his name has been missed off the memorial - it does sometimes happen.

That is definitely what it says on the Commonwealth War Graves site. He was the husband of May Marsden of Mile End Road, London.

My Grandfather Robert Charles Marsden 42364 1st Bn East Yorkshire Reg died 26/8 1918 as a soldier in France. I was given info by Wargraves that his name was on Vis-En-Artois Memorial but have been unable to find it...someone listed all that regiments names but his was not on the list. Where else can I try please?
