Looking for information about Thomas James Pennell. He was born on 25/08/1913 he died the last quarter of the year in 1986. I think he joined the Kingsown Scottish Borderers, service no. 3.193.783. Think he enrolled with them to get a service number. Which I think was known as the desert rats. Any information I would be very grateful. I have 2 photos of him in uniform but not sure if I can add them. Thank you for any help.

Have a read of this Sandra. Records of anyone serving more recently than WW1 are not online. If you fit the criteria then you'll be able to send for the documents.
