I understand William H A Harrison b1887, died 1972. was in RFA serving in WW1 and WW2 he had two service numbers. 826 and 965396.
I would be grateful for any information about him, maybe medal index cards.

The record is faint and hard to read.
He was promoted a few times, eventually to Bombadier. Posted as [something] Fitter, to retain the rank and pay of Bombadier.

Served in France.

27/11/1916 - Severely reprimanded by CO for Dirty on Parade.

Aug 1918 - wounded - face and neck [apparently no lasting effect ]

However, the 1939 register says he was in the AFS, Admiralty.
