Maureen was born before it was taken

It’s a common name but it does look like Ronald may have died as a baby In 1937

Suggest you get the mums death cert to see who the informant was

You can’t open the record. It would only be open on proof on the persons death

Info

To have a record checked you will be required to provide proof of death, most commonly a death certificate. If you have proof of death but cannot identify a specific record, you can request a search of the 1939 Register for a fee using The National Archives Freedom of Information (FOI) request form.

Why do you think Ronald died in 1937? I don't see a death that fits

If he died, who is the open record in 1939?

Shirley,

Ronald's birth was registered in the last quarter of 1936 so he wouldn't have been 1 year old in the beginning on 1937.

That’s very true Rose

I missed that as am on my iPad and you can’t have two pages open at the same time

:-D

Although the birth date for Ellen on the death matches the 1939 census posted perhaps the 1939 record posted isn’t them

Both ancestry and fmp bring that up as them though
