Looking for a female who was in Alton Hampshire
late 1958 /1959
Who gave birth to a daughter on 15/03 /1959
her name Jacqueline S Potter
and gave her baby up for adoption at
Farnham Court, Surrey

Assuming she was born in England or Wales, the only Jacqueline S Potter I can see in a reasonable timeframe was one born in 1927 - see FreeBMD.

However, that woman married in 1949, then remarried in 1954, and died in Bedford in 2004 under her second married surname. She and her second husband had several children, including one in Bedfordshire in the first qr of 1959 .

As the child you mention was born in Hampshire, the woman above couldn't be the mother.

If you are the child in question then you are entitied to your adoption files which may give more info
