Hi,

I am trying to locate George Grubb and any possible family for a friend.

I have George's 2nd marriage to Mary McNulty, 1973 - Islington Reg District of London.

George, I think was born c1944 Cumberland?? Both George & Mary may/may not be still alive. My friend is wanting to know if George & Mary had any children.

I have looked in various/usual places, Ancestry, Freebmd etc, but cannot see any at the moment.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

I note from the marriage on Findmypast that George has a middle initial "S".

Unfortunately on the GRO website there is this death:-

GRUBB, GEORGE STEPHEN 1944
GRO Reference: DOR Q3/2019 in Hertfordshire (538-1M) Entry Number 519402081

Could this possibly be him?

I can't see any children to the couple if McNulty was Mary's maiden name.

This is his birth:-

First name(s) George S
Last name Grubb
Birth year 1944
Birth quarter 3
Registration month -
Mother's maiden name Palmer
District Border
County Northumberland
Country England
Volume 10B
Page 858
Record set England & Wales Births 1837-2006

The Border Registration district would cover Cumberland

No apparent children from his first marriage, either.

The first wife also re-married................
