Hi! I'm looking for descendants of George Hatton (b1857 Chorlton, Manchester) & his wife Jane Ann (née Turner, b1853 Manchester). They have strong connections with Liverpool, Barrow-in-Furness, Manchester & Derbyshire. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

All the information you have given is correct. George Hatton married Ann Jones in 1857. I have traced back via my Grandfather William Banks b1907 @ 44 Gorton Lane Manchester. His older sister Emily was born 1903 Barrow-in-Furness. I have certification to corolate all the information passed down the generations. Emily met an untimely & sad end & her two children Frank & Dorothy Smith were adopted within the family, most probably on their fathers side as their surname was never changed (& back in the day questions wouldn't have been asked). My Grandfather funded his niece & nephew's education/upbringing after Emily's demise. Frank b1924 became an optician & Dorothy b1927 became a hairdresser. It is thought Dorothy never married. I have a possible marriage for Frank to Audrey Johnson, but still working on that.
