Hello my name is Jeanette Banks formerly Brereton.
I was previously on here about 4yrs ago searching for Family Members. A lot has happened since then. I have found a Brother I didn't know I had.
I am currently looking for my Grandads Daughter Georgina Hughes.
My Grandad was William Henry Pritchard born 16th April 1915 and died May 1989.
when he was in his early 60s he met a young lady in her early 20s and they had a Daughter called Georgina Hughes. Her Mother was Maria Hughes born 1954 or thereabouts, she would be in her 60s now and Georgina in her mid 40s.
Maria may have been a traveller and had affiliations with Cinderford in Gloucester and Evesham.
if anyone can help me I would be eternally in your debt.
I have tried on ancestry but have come to a dead end.

I believe that Georgina married and is now Davis/Davies and she lived in Worcester.

Maria may have been a traveller Maria Hughes d.o.b 1954 ish Georgina Hughes d.o.b 1974 ish Cinderford, Evesham, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Forest of Dean, Gloucestshire.

She and her husband are on the electoral rolls to 2015 still in Worcester

Hello , please may I ask for your help again. Is there any way I can find out if there are any relatives of Maria Hughes or her Daughter Georgina Hughes/ Davies.
I don't know if Maria married again. I am at a loss of what to do now. I have sent letters recorded delivery but had them all back. One person had written a little not saying that she wasn't the lady I was looking for.
Is there any way I can find out where they lived back then?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Not sure what you mean when you say you don't know if Maria married 'again'. She wasn't married to your grandfather - so was she married to someone else at the time she had his child?

Do you have Georgina's birth cert?

I know Maria Hughes never married my Grandad. I was only wandering if Maria had married anyone at all in the years to follow.
I have sent for Georgina birth certificate.

Ancestry shows 23 marriages of women named Maria Hughes 1974-84.
Fourteen of them have middle initials.

None in Gloucestershire. If she was a traveller, she could have been anywhere.

I fear you'll never know if she married or not.
