Ah, when not on holiday often the only time I read is in bed for about 20 minutes every evening. Some of mine were light books, some quite solid books, some kindle and some paperbacks. I don't skim read although I do read fairly fast.

Can match you there Ann - 348 kept since Christmas 2011. Most of those were free downloads. I do tend to skim-read and will read for a couple of hours a day :-D

Erm, I have just checked in the two years 2012/13 I read 180 books!!!! Mostly on holiday!! :-D :-D

I think I am the slowest reader on here! Have just finished Joanne Harris's 'Holy Fools' and it was great to begin with and to the middle bit, but started to flag and repeat itself. I was a bit bored towards the end but the heroine (remember the rope dancer turned nun, Juliette?) remained strong against all ofds. Fairly satisfying read. <3

Hi DS :-),I have read the Brecton trilogy and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed them, Judge Me Not (The Cotton Mill Saga) is also worth a try.... :-)

Game of Thrones, part one

I have just finished Citadel by Kate Moss on my Kindle and I have noticed that it is now down to £2.99. It is quite long and the main story is about the Resistance in France. There is a love story in it as well and there is also a back story which is connected to the first two books in the trilogy Labrynth and Sepulchre.

I enjoyed it, it is a good read but I preferred her first two.
