Forgot to tell you - my 6 & 7 year old grandie girls from Bendigo each got a Socceroo shirt from German and a soccer ball each. .. By the sounds of things we might have some budding socceroo's coming along (am wondering *did my son-in-law really want a boy?* .. Seriously though he adores his two little girls. THIS TIME I'M REALLY GOING. Jood

JUST had a thought: when is our Wattle Club birthday??? We should be planning a party!! :) Vonny Trifley, I always thought you had your bling so that people wouldn't be confused as to what sex you were!!! A birthday party...what a good idea, Vonny. Laurie....Lara....Joodles......when was the first meet? Perhaps if we get enough of us....we can celebrate it at Mudgee. I'm off to heat up some Ovaltine and slip into bed. Sweet dreams Wafflers. Trifley X

Oh Great Trifley one . . . trust you to think of a reason to have a party !!! On 13th July 2005 - Shaz, Joodles, Leah, Sandra & I met at Moss Vale (Shaz's friend Pat & Sandra's hubby Mike were there too . . . hope I didn't forget anyone !!) - to organise the meet with Anne Honey Rum which was held at Brighton-Le-Sands on 15th October, 2005! So we have two birthdays, our first meet on 13th July - and the formation of the Wattle thread on 15th October !! Yaaaeeeehhhh Two Parties !!! (I get to wear the tiara at the party of the Wattle thread - cause i came up with the name !! . . . but I have to share with Lara I guess cause she said 'what'll we call it'?) Cheers and good night luv Laurie

Morning Jood & Wattlers still in bed or maybe glued to the soccer I'm multi tasking - eating brekky, typing & an ear on the soccer then have to be ready to leave for work at 7 & hubby has now sat down to watch instead of having his shower - but then it is exciting - go go Aussies Happy birthday to Sandra & David's Dad - hope you both have a great day. Sandra sounds like you're going to have a fab weekend - hope the weather holds for the Bridge walk. Tassie - hope you enjoyed your Anniversary cheesecake. Gotta go, catch up tonight, have a great day everyone Gwenda

Jood - you mentioned your grandies getting Socceroo shirts & balls - they could become Young Matildas when they get older - former neighbour across from us was one of them & played in the Olympics in Greece.

Judy

Judy Report 22 Jun 2006 22:44

You just never know Gwenda. .. The younger one is a bit of a tomboy - and their Dad used to play, in fact he played a game the day of this wedding!! One way to steady the nerves! Jood (who went back to bed and slept another whole hour)

Good morning dear Wattlers You will not believe this, but hubby set the alarm for 4.30am so he could watch the soccer - and I got up to keep him company! At least we got through to the next round - it would have beeen a waste of my good sleeping time if we had lost! I may need a nanny nap this afternoon! Happy birthday Sandra! Enjoy your weekend. Have a good day everyone Cheers Anna PS Lew - this is a legal joke for you. OH thought it was hilarious but I remain unmoved even if it is a sad reflection on our legal profession! 'Two lawyers set up a partnership and agree to divide all their earnings equally. On their first day in business, a man comes in for a basic contract. 'That will be $100,' says one of the lawyers. The client hands over the cash, but unbeknown to him, there are two notes stuck together. The lawyer is confronted with his first ethical dilemma: should he share the cash with his partner?' :>)
