Hi all

reporting in just in case any of you thought I had emmigrated !!
I was very busy at the fhs on friday and didn't get a cup of tea so no chance of coming on here .
Son still here .His course starts again tomorrow and there is no sign of him leaving .I have this problem every time he comes home on holiday !! Think I make it too comfortable for him .
Liz sorry that you are having a bad time again.Think I would be up on a murder charge by now if I was in your position.
Carole glad to hear that your dad is a bit better.Made me think about my dad and the very last words he spoke to me .He said is that a squirrel on your head .Think the morphine did some thing to his brain !! bless him
Ben glad you are feeling stronger and I agree with others don't let ignorant people put you down

Moning all, it's lovely and sunny here in the great beyond, but the ground is sodden. So I am clearing off a table to put a flat of tomato seeds - hopefully to grow!! we can't really plant seedlings here till the 3rd week of May so I may not have success at this late date but will try. want to be outdoors but it's chilly and damp.
I was so surprised yesterday, I came home in the car and my neighbours were in my side garden breaking up all the branches which had come down in the winter. I thought WOW, my old neighbours would have more likely been throwing their refuse over my fence - or criticizing my efforts in the garden - than do anything to assist me. Now, here are 2 older people, mind you they had an ulterior motive, they wanted the firewood for their son's cottage, but when they'd finished all the small bits were in a neat pile. What a treat to have cooperative neighbours.

I had someone here the day before to give me a price estimate on building some fencing to keep the 2 escapee grandchildren coralled. The neighbour said yesterday he had spoken with the man also and thought he seemed very decent, he said he had no trouble warming up to him,made me feel better as I feel very vulnerable being man-less in the house (except for gareth LOL). The neighbour is getting an estimate from him too.
My veggie garden is all drawn up on graph paper (that wretched perfedctionist who keeps appearing), and the seeds are all purchased and ready to go when the weather is better.
Nothing for it now, but to catch up on laundry and tidy up.
Good day to all, brain too foggy today (battling a migraine headache) to read or write much.

hi everyone. Yesterday I went to visit Dad, took Mum and my sister. Dad seemed a lot brighter
and even tried to joke a little with the tea lady!

Today I have been waited on, oh cooked dinner. Then I set about tidying the utility room. I've been having nightmares about the mountain of ironing,
( which I'll do soon) and was suprised it wasn't that bad when I acually saw it in the morning!

Vods I agree a man can give your self confidence a real knock. It's usually because they have a problem
and try to make them self look better, by making those nearest to them look bad.xxx

They may one day find that THEY NEED YOU.....
We are none of us strong enough to stand alone.
Glad to see you back Ben... and remember please that the first time you came on this board, you taught me that I had also suffered fro OCD.... and even doctors didn't tell me that.
That Ben is why we are all here! To help each other.
SO stay away from the rude people.... you will soon learn to recognise them, have a good day.

Vod.... your daughter is quite right, but she will be strong again. I can say this from experience...
They can drag you down so far that you really BELIEVE that you are no good.
She will find out herself after a while that she is well rid of him, and begin to realize that there are others out there who think she is wonderful... starting with friends.

Sorry to hear Ben that some people have been rude and sarcastic towards you. They dont sound very caring. On this site everyones very understanding. Well done with trying to control your ocd.

let's face it Ben, would you really want to be "wanted" by people like that!!!! Of course you wouldn't - people like that are not worth the time of day, whereas on here everyone is wanted and cared for so just don't go there any more - it is they who have the problem, certainly not you!!

My OCD has gone down at the moment as I am learning to control the rituals as well. Hope it can last.

I did mention about other sites and ignorant members. I just ignore them now. I did have one who said "Go away please" when I tried to say hello which i found was rude and the please was sarcastic as she was chatting with other members. Having looked at her posts, her typing was over the place, grammer not right and abbreviated with the odd swear words. Another one had a pic of herself in her undies as her main photo.

I think they go on there to get attention and maybe to ignore certain members as well. I use the site less and only speak to the ones who speak to me now. I think the ignorant ones are immature.

But, because of that it made my ocd tell me that I am unwanted.

Can't you just get out of it to a place of your own?

My daughter who split from her OH in January, said that a man can get your self esteem so low, that you think no-one else will want you, or even look at you, and you just resign yourself to living your life like that for the sake of the kids.
Thank God she saw the light of day, but still don't know why she married him in the first place, cos she lived with him for 6 1/2 years before marrying him, and he was the same then.

hi all love to everyone of you. Ive been to anxiety class on thursday. I cant believe how many symptoms they showed us and I have them all. Still near the and of the sesion the lady makes the group lay on the floor and makes us tense our muscles and then relax them she talks in such a soothing way. This week I hadnt had much sleep so when I got to her class I felt tired. I said to the girl next to me if I fall asleep wake me up .You will hear me because my husbands says I snore. . My husband always worries though when I snore because sometimes I hold my breath and stop breathing he has to elbow me in the ribs. I told my mums mate about this shes a nurse and says you are suffering with sleep apnoea. Anyway enough about me. love to you all and you will all be in my prayers.

At least I have been productive, after he had gone to work at 6 am I got up again and stuck a couple of throws in the wash, and got them out on the line before getting back to bed! They will be dry and back on before he gets home, and I now have another load of stuff in the machine. I am taking advantage of being able to dry things outside.

The bill was for 2pence.............I kid you not!

Hello all

Hope today will be a bit better for everyone.

I am not really having fun Carole I am arguing with Housing Association over a payment 2 years ago from previous property, I still have the letter stating it was an ocersight on their behalf and the rent was paid, now I get a debt recovery letter.

Not too happy but neither are they now I have rang them and told them off.

Liz I'm so sorry you had to suffer that abuse. He really knows which buttons to press to make you panic like that. He is torturing you! You need to get your head together and look at ways of getting your own house sorted out, so you don't depend on him. He'll see he does not pull all the strings then! I hope for you that the counselling can help you enough, to be able to do something that you really want. In the mean time roll on next week so you don't see him so much! xx

Hi Sally, we all try not to let others see how sad or poorly we feel. It's not doing any favors to ourselves by holding it in though. That only makes the problem deeper, and so then harder to treat when we hit rock bottom. Do something now, before you
hit that bottom. Talk to us, it's as good as a virtual counselling sesion! We all accept pm's or group
messages! It's better to share than carry on alone. xxx

Joyce don't do that again! Staying on the computer during a storm! Honest, ours got hit and we had to claim on insurance for a new one. But lost all our files, work we had worked on for ever! You need to turn it off and unplug it, also the internet cable should be unattatched, thats where our problem happened. Now say sorry and be a good girl xx

Poor Colleen she has so much to cope with. I'm sorry the little lad has no longer a place at the school. My son had speech problems and went to a special school we had to fight for a place at! I know how much it means to have that place. Does he get speech therapy anywhere else? How can they do that to the kid. It's alright having them tell you what to do but it's another job and the kids don't want to sit at home and work all the time. They seem to know it's different at school. Special schools are so few and far between here. Do you have the same problem? xx
