Hello all, had a lazy day with a bit of gardening, washing and cooking and not much else. Feeling fairly ok and just want to catch up with lots of phone calls, and bits and bobs, as well as clearing stuff out when I feel able.
Have smear test and dentist arranged, not at the same time lol, and have to arrange a haircut and financial check at bank, so want to get them all done before the holiday at the end of May. Sending deposit off tomorrow for May 31st to 10th June, how will I cope without a computer lol? I might have to call a few folk and ask for updates!!
Will be a quiet restful holiday but the cottage is roomy so can have seperate bedrooms and lose him in a different room if I want, or lock him in the summerhouse in the garden for the duration lol It has lots of kiddies' toys in there to keep him happy lol
A week of late shifts this week so won't see much of him at all, if I play my cards right!
I hope you all have a good week and can feel a bit better as the days get longer and brighter.

Morning all, Elaine if I can quit smoking cold turkey, anyone can!! for me it's 16 years since a bad cough and pain in my chest scared me into quitting. The key is- IMHO -to want to quit. sending you big hugs and positive encouragement.
Sue I hope you can sort out your issue to take some of the pressure off, feel free to unload when you're ready.

Christine welcome, this is a very supportive thread, even though we unload on here, it doesn't seem like a big moan, everyone respects others concerns, and some lighter posts are helpful.
Joyce hope your cold is better, I've had great success in shortening the symptomss with a "neti pot", basically a nasal wash which also clears the bacteria from the sinuses. felt a bit like I was drowning in the Atlantic the first time I used it, but has really helped.
Carolina, thinking of you, hope your stress can be reduced soon.
Liz, be good to yourself . . . . clear another bag today - them's orders LOL.

Sue, sorry you are feeling under the weather and don't feel you can confide in OH. It is a heavy burden to bear on your own I am sure. I do hope that you will be feeling better soon.

morning everyone ,sue i do hope your problem gets sorted whatever it may be im thinking of you ,carole ,hope youre ok love ,havent seen deanna on here latley unless ive missed her hello deanna how you doing love ? well as for myself not a good day today got up this morning and the first thing i think of was visiting my aunt in hospital the saturday night before she passed away ,then my uncle turned up to see me so it brought it all back again ,now ive decided to try and stop smoking try being the main word ,as ive had this horrible cough for the last few months been on biotics but hasnt moved it now im getting pains in my back with it ,i think i will find it hard as im really stressed out over hubby as you all no ,now with this anx im thinking its more than just a cough as you can imagine ,well enough of me hope you all have a good sunday im of to se to dinner roast beef and yorkie pud hugs to all xxelaine xx

First of all love to everyone who is suffering.

Got a major problem at the moment that I can't bring myself to discuss yet.

One area of pain does seem to be responding to treatment so fingers crossed.

Going to see surgeon within next four weeks for update on the screw up..hmmmm not holding breath for a good review.

Had the problem with yobs tonight, see 'called the police thread', so that has kept my mind off all the cr*p for a couple of hours.

Still keeping true feelings from hubby and I know I shouldn't but he has enough on his plate.

My INR levels have dropped so the Warfarin has been increased. I am off aspirin for 2 weeks so I can take anti-inflammatories. Got another blood test on Monday and both arms are still bruised from last Tuesday. (Nurse is gonna love me..not).

My drug drawer looks like Boots the chemist at the moment. I put in a repeat scrip form, crossed off one drug which I don't take anymore added can I please have DF118s but OH picked up a huge bag from the Chemist cos they refilled all 9 drugs on my list even though I only had them a week ago!

So not only did I get my DF118s but my 100 usual painkillers, temazepam, rosuvastatin, cipralex, aspirin, warfarin in 5mgs x 2, 1mg x 2, 3mgs x2 and .5mgs x 2

Good job scrips are free here :-)))

I hope Deanna and Caz get better very soon.

Anyone waiting for tests - good luck.

I hope you all get to cope with your personal demons, if you do perhaps I could pass over a couple of mine.....not really I wouldn't wish those on anyone :-(((((
