I have been cutting our rosies hair(the dog) shes been absoulately loving it. She looks like shes got a bob cut on her ears. Everyone keeps saying dont she look cute. I think I have done a good job. when I have taken to the shop before to have her hair clipped she was in a terrible state when she came back. She blanked me all day and when I went to stroke her she growled. She had never done that before. And she was fine with everyone else. my hubby said because you have taken her she fell out with you. Because before we had her she was a rescue dog I wonder if she thought i was going to leave her there for good. Anyway since that day I cut her myself and she is brilliant. see you all soon love shazza

afternoon everyone hope you all having a lovley weekend and all got somthing nice planed for bank hol monday well i managed to go to town yesterday all on my own to and i felt quite pleased with myself to for doing it ,well today ive hato forse my self to stop googling a certain heart surgery ,as i was doing well till thisafternoon then just sat on here to relax for a while and all came flooding back to me hubby has some more tests on tuesday at stoke ,hospital transport all sorted this time after the panic before , well im of to make a coffee any body want one and a slice of baternberg cake .all take care xxelaine xx

I am not doing too bad at the moment. I am going to London and Brighton in 5 weeks to research my family tree more. That can get rid of my OCD symptoms as it is a distraction.

I have been very pleased at the latest discovery as I may have discovered how my gggrans parents met as her father was a servant and they both moved to London from Sussex and married shortly after her birth, then she was baptised by them. His previous wife was ill for quite some time before she died, and I believe he may have known of his next wife or her family.

Hopefully I can find out more about this when I go to Brighton.

What a beautiful poem joyce has wrote, my daughter the other day has received a merit in a poem she has wrote and its being published. She was entered it at school and this is the second time a poem of hers has been published. The first one was at junior school. Now she is at senior school, the day I felt a bit weepy in the afternoon a letter came telling me her work was being published it really picked me up and Iam so proud of her. Thanks for your kind thoughts everyone.I am off to Amsterdam in another few hours, won't be back until tuesday with grandson, so may not be able to post for a while.
In the meantime, I am going to delete my posts, don't want my children to see how I am feeling, IF 'something should happen to me'.

Claddagh.... I have no ill effects with my 40 gms of Omeprazole, but I am only on that dose while I am on the iron tablets. I will go back to 20mgs when I stop the iron in a couple of months probably.

I have to go and watch MR.&Mrs. but I will be back.

I'm not trying to advertize but wondered if any of you had looked at my thread about narcissistic mothers.I have,in the past,been prescribed tranquilizers and anti-depressants when all I really needed was a dose of what vet's use for my mother.I realize now that I probably wasn't clinically depressed but quite justifiably desperately unhappy and frustrated.I haven't had any depression since she died.Feel a bit down sometimes and wait for the familiar despair to slide in and it feels pretty damned strange when it doesn't,like something I've had all my life is gone.

morning everyone carole glad your friend is sounding a bit better and how are thing with you hope all is ok ,just like to say hi to deanna hope you are all ok ,well here i go im ready for the off have worked my self up to going town asda on my own have been telling myself all morning its ok and i can always turn round and come home if i start feeling anx/panic so here goes will let you all no how i manage it this will be my first trip on my own to town since january when i had my first anx/panic attack so im of before i bottle out hope to catch you all if i make it back lol hugs to all xxx exlaine x

Late up today, my sister just phoned I was still in bed thinking of getting up! Couldn't stop yawning!

My friend had her endoscopy yesterday and they could find no reason for her being sick. She now has a drip 24 hour meds, and caries round a bag in her hand bag. Still being sick though. She did sound a little better in herself last night.

I have a bit of sinus cold and haven't been sleeping too well. Hope to catch up this week end.

Hi Betty and all, I admire those of you who can send individual messags to everyone. If your brain is frazzled and you can do that Betty, I don't know what state my brain is in cos I can't think straight tonight, am so tired.

Welcome to the newbees even just writing your anx. and worries on here i find helps to lessen them because you know that everybody else is sure to understand and there is always somebody that you can "talk" to privately if needs be.
Liz I do not even know a lot of those plants that you mentioned, i sometimes buy flowers and roses plant them and a few weeks later my husband the "gardener" that knows all about gardening has pulled them up because they are "weeds".
Carole you must be releived that you dads health is starting to pull up even if it is slowly. How is your friend? did she have her tests done, hope that the sickness and bleeding has subsided by now.
Farmer Giles it is good to see you on again.
Ycaz hope you are better soon.

I think that your daughter needs a solicitor as he would be able to gather more information and present it to the judge.

jeannie, good to see you on here. Please feel free to unload on us if you have a bad day. I am fortunate as I don't (to date) suffer with depression, just get a bit down and fed up sometimes with my bad back. But these lovely people have supported me through an operation this year and I don't know where i would have been without them. they are all wonderful.

Deanna, let us hope it has now passed then and that you enjoy your tea. Shan't see you tomorrow as i will be on the way to the lake district but will speak when we return next friday. i hope by then our friend Joyce will be back with us and that YCaz's tootsies are better.
eileen, sorry you have had a bad week. hopefully, although you feel you could do without it at the moment, having your grandson to look after will give you the lift you need.

Elaine, Even though your daughter is innocent I wonder if she would be better off getting a solicitor, presumable she qualifies for legal aid. You read of things going wrong and a solicitor would guard against that.
